Seraph's history is somewhat of a mystery... Especially to him... He was found when he was 3 years old on a beach on the southern shores of Rathkeale by a 6 year old girl who was playing. He was taken to a small village near by to see if he had been lost, but nobody there knew him.

There was an old woman who had never been able to have children that decided to take him in and raise him. She took care of him for many years, teaching him to survive on his own. He was a hand full for the old woman that is for sure.

When he was 8 he was playing on the cliff's near the shore and came upon a cave. There was a very harsh stench coming from the cave. He went in and saw the carcass of a winged dragon. When he turned to run away, he tripped. When he turned to see what he tripped over, he noticed a small dragon, about the size of a dog. He saw the recently hatched shell nearby. He reached out and tried to pet the dragon on the head, but the dragon pulled away. He had some food in his pouch and he held it out towards the dragon. The dragon sniffed it and quickly ate it from Seraph's hand, but never touched his hand. This was the start of a great friendship.

Seraph brought the little dragon home with him to the village. The villagers were not happy, but they couldn't kill the dragon because Seraph stood in their way. The old woman came out and she was not happy. She took Seraph and the dragon back to the cave. She told him that he could come to the cave every day and feed and raise the dragon, but the dragon couldn't enter the village again for fear of being killed. Seraph named him Louie and went to the cave to be with him every day.

A year later, in the middle of the night, the old woman grabbed Seraph, and put him in a hole in the back of the hut, and covered it with a rug. There was screaming and a lots of other noise outside. Suddenly the door was kicked in, and two "blue elves" entered his home. They looked at the old woman and immediately ran her through with their swords looked around, and then left.

Seraph watched in horror from his hiding place. He waited till there was no more noise before he emerged from under the rug. He carefully went outside, and then ran to Louie's cave. By this time, Louie was about the size of a warhorse. He stayed in the cave with Louie for a while. He knew he couldn't stay there any longer and said his good-bye's to his only friend.

He went to the port of Rathkeale. He found the captain of a merchant ship and ended up becoming a cabin boy. When he was 12, the ship he was on, got caught in a terrible storm. The ship capsized and Seraph was thrown in to the water.

he next thing he remembers is waking up on the same beach he was originally found on, and it was 4 years later. When he awoke, there were two "blue elves" cornering a male and a female. Remembering the last time he saw blue elves, he looked around and saw that he had 2 daggers in his belt. He quietly walked up behind them, and with one motion, put the knives in both of the elves backs.

The pair turned out to be Artex of the house of Bluebane and his cousin Catherine. Catherine looked at Seraph and thought she recognized him and vice-versa. It turns out, that she was the little girl that saved him when he was 3. Seraph journeyed back to castle Bluebane with them. He had trained to fight on the ships over the years and honed his skills while at castle Bluebane. When Artex formed the Unforgiven, he asked Seraph to join.

He trained and went out in to the Realms with Artex, Catherine and Skilly, being the fighter of the group. At Queen of Hearts V, he was the Champion of team Rathkeale. Unfortunately he suffered an injury to his sword arm during the tournaments, and couldn't fight afterwards. This ended up being a blessing in disguise.

When he returned to Rathkeale, knowing that he couldn't fight anymore, he went to the cave of his oldest friend Louie, who was now fully grown. Louie knew who Seraph was instantly and the two began to play again. As the day wound down, Seraph realized that he couldn't fight as well anymore because of his arm, and figured he would be replaced in the Unforgiven. Artex found Seraph by the cave and they talked. Artex told Seraph that he would teach him the ways of a battle mage. Seraph found his calling, and since then has been in training, and is still a member of the Unforgiven.
